I had my driver move a car parked to close to a hydrant once. I am sure that pushing the car with the pumper, while the car was in park, didn't do it any good.

I was masking up one time in the front yard of a house that was rolling. I heard two pops and looked over my shoulder, lo and behold a 5" supply line was running through the back seat of a car parked at a hydrant. I was so focused on gearing up I hadn't even noticed it (the car) but our driver was salt and nails and you did not want to interfere with his getting water.
