That's a pretty good deal assuming the quality is good.
I've been running a K6000 that cost me about $65 including the 32GB class-10 memory card. But, the K6000 is only a single view. Would be nice to have dual view.

What I would REALLY like to have is a camera hard-wired into my car that is just the tiny lens visible from outside the car, with the video recording out of sight.

All the cars that now have the backup cameras in the trunk lid with the video display on the dash is similar to the direction I am talking about.

I do not want a device that is battery driven or has to be pulled off the dash whenever I park my car. Instead, a small camera lens mounted on the front of my rear view mirror, camera lenses mount on my left and right side view mirrors, and one mounted unobtrusively on my trunk lid. All 4 sides, hard wired, display on the dash where the GPS display would be, and a USB port and/or blue tooth connection to transfer video to a different device (tablet, smart phone, laptop, etc.).

I'd pay a definite price premium for such a system

The ideal dash cam should automatically start recording every time you start your car and delete older videos on the memory card when full.

Any good car stereo place can hook you up easy. Heck the same camera you use on the back can work on the front.

My $65 K6000 (and most others) do exactly that.

I like J Frog's idea.... but doing that as an aftermarket add on would require a lot of work. Definitely best implemented at the factory.
