Blood Moon Tonight-hope it clears up

The sky that is, not the moon.
A total lunar eclipse will be visible overnight, the first of two for 2014. Hopefully the skies will clear for tonight's.

The end of the world has not happened so many times that I have lost count. I expect to wake up in the morning and still have to do laundry, dishes, and teach my kids to read, write, and add and subtract (1&2 grade). If I find out otherwise I will be most surprised.

Well, when I just woke up I realized my wife was still there. Obviously, so was I.
So either she & I missed the rapture and better be ready for tribulations, or the end times have once again not materialized.

I think you are good. I woke up late....my husband had schoolwork to do and I do not sleep well without him. He went to bed around 2 ish, but it was cloudy here so no joy.

This image was "stabilized" from several different images, hence the lil bit of shakiness.

We got up at 2:30 a.m. and watched it last night. We used a 7X pair of binocs, and a 20X riflescope.
I've gotta get a telescope. I keep saying that, and then I keep putting it off. And then these events happen and I still don't have a telescope. Been doing that for years now.
