Texas Gov is not responding to me!!!

In November 2013 I submitted my CHL documents with fingerprints fees and everything else that was required. After submitting the paperwork I waited and in December checked up to see the status of my submission. I was told that they never received my paperwork so at the end of December 2013 I resubmitted through the Internet. Texas confirms that they have received my payment and all of my application materials. They did question some medications I was on at the time. I continue to wait and still have not heard about the progress of my submission. The state website shows that my application is still being processed but I have not received an answer to numerous emails as to whether my application is approved or denied. It is now the middle of April 2014 and I'm still waiting. So much for a 90 day process. Has anyone else had a similar story. Is there anything I can do?

Have you called? (512) 424-7293 opt1. You may have to call several times (you may get the agents are too busy message and disconnected, or get through) and wait on hold for 30-40 minutes to talk to someone - it is well worth it if you can get it straightened out.

Paxil. I am wondering if they are stalling because of this? I have a clean history and am an intelligent and responsible individual. I will try calling the phone number provided and will update my progress. Thanks!

Paxil is common enough, you shouldn't have a problem unless you are on a sky high dose

To the OP, if you feel you have provided all of the necessary info contact your state representative. They will get involved after the 60 day mark.
