How do you clean your brass?
Corn cob media in a Lyman Tumbler. No soaking or anything else. Throw in tumbler and plug in.
What is clean enough? Are you one of those that believes that brass should shine like new?
I do like a little shine, but I am not too anal about it.
Do you clean primer pockets?
No. Not worth the effort.
How often do you change you tumble media?
I change when it starts looking dirty. I guess it lasts about 5 tumbles.
Do you add anything to your media?
Yes. Usually Flitz, but I've had good resulty with non amonia based car polish.
How long do you tumble?
Usually 2-3 hours. Depending on how dirty the media is.
