What does it mean when it says "passport photo holder - received "?

Just means they received a photo copy of a passport. Did you use one as ID? I did, and for me it's also proof of citizenship.

My guess is, you submitted photos because you do not have a Texas driver's license, and they have acknowledged receipt of those.

Mine says it too although they are using my older TX DL photo. It's just a general statement saying they don't need it. Don't worry.

That would make sense, but it does not reference a passport.

Then, I have no idea! As part of my packet I had to sent in a copy of my passport. But, it's probably not worth calling to find out!

The "passport photo holder" was a form we used to have to send in with applications. Until last summer, everyone had to submit two "passport" photos with their application. Thankfully no more.

Everyone's says that. If you hold a TX drivers license it automatically says received because they now use your photo from your license. Don't worry
