This came from Florida Full Throttle Magazine's Facebook page. Not sure if it's a real deal, if it's commercially available, or just some wish picture.
I'll do some digging around and let you know what I find.
Either way, it's a pretty cool way to store a pistol on your cruiser if you had to...

It is a cool idea, but I would worry about how water tight it is after a couple hours riding in the rain.

True but I do my best not to ride in the rain. There are few things in life more miserable than a few hours riding in a driving rain storm...
If they do it right, it's possible to seal things off pretty well with O-rings though...

They do say "Water resistant" so they must have a gasket under the lid. Yeah I guess I see it in the picture in the first post here. Their web page needs to show a lot more of it if they want to sell these things.
Of course, if it's built like a Harley accessory then the top doesn't mate properly with the base, nor does the lock work w/o a lot of hammering. I'm kidding...
:)

I saw one in Sturgis last year. They are gasketed, however, they do not seem very water tight to me. It is a good idea but????

I've seen them and even considered one for my bike. I decided against them as people said the seal breaks down over a short period of time, the lock assy gets water and dirt in it and are much thicker than OEM. One guy said he has a problem with scraping now. Seeing as how my foot board mounts are about half ground down, I can see this happening on the good twisties.
Plus, I ride with my firearm where it is in very quick access. If I have to lock it up, it goes in my tour pack. If you only have saddle bags, then you should consider the Brukus security bolts.
