anyone around collin county have a castle nut they would get rid of ? I am trying to finish this while on vacation the next couple of days and have no clue how I forgot it. I don't feel like paying 7.00 shipping for it to come in next week or waiting till I make a larger order.

Are all castle nuts the same size?
If not, wouldn't it be a good idea to provide some technical specifics?
Yes?
No?

Aside from aluminum versus steel castle nuts, castle nuts with cool logos , castle nuts with-or-without staking notches, all castle nuts are pretty much the same. Naturally, the 20 buck castle nuts are worth more than the 4 buck castle nuts
Edit: PM in 1s1k52's mail box.

Indeed they do. I understand castle nuts can also be found on the Rhine river.

are you serious? I have been to home depot 5 times in 2 days (don't ask) and been so busy I didn't bother to check before I ordered a 4 dollar one with a 7 dollar wrench.
I didn't even know they had different ones? All I ever see are 4-7 dollar ones?

I would like to publicly thank DocV for consistently trying to help me this build. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

The hardware store castle nuts won't work. The Rhine River castle nuts are probably on vacation.

:)
The kind you need is only a stamp away.
Edit: The $25 buck castle nut is over here:

It is a bit too scary for me.

Every time I hear someone talk about a castle nut all I can think of is Monty Python and the Holy Grail

this shocks most people that really know me, but i don't care for British comedy much. The reference right now is funny. John Cleese is funny sometimes.
