an unusual question, perhaps

Hello, all
I've returned to the world of TexasCHLForum after an extended absence, and my license expired err - a while back.
Last Friday, when I went online to put in my application, it showed that it was already processed online, and I recalled that I had filled it out previously, and paid for it, last year.
So, I went ahead and took the class for renewal purposes, but, there wasn't any way for me to set up a fingerprint appointment, send in 'mugshots' ;)
I'm wondering if I have screwed myself up at this point, and I should call DPS and ask them what I need to do?

PS yeah, I know, I'm a big dope for letting it expire, ha ha.

People with a Texas Driver License are no longer required to submit passport photos.

Your old online renewal has to be terminated in their system first before you can re-apply again. I would call them right at 8am.

I just had the odd urge to check, and this is what I found today:

Good deal! The exclamation point means nothing... it's normal.
If you check the thread below, you can see several screenshots I posted during my recent renewal. That exclamation point was even there when I got "mailed" status.

so... today my fingerprints read 'under review'
Is it a common occurrence that they'll go from green to 'under review' at some point during the background review?

My fingerprints went from "under review" to "complete" (for my new application).
