This Denny's near 290 and FM1960 has now been robbed 3 times in the last year. This time at 4:30 Sunday morning.

I would say if Open Carry Texas is looking for a place to test their constitutional rights, any Denny's in Houston, after midnight, would be my selection for them.

They might be welcome and might actually have the firepower to stop one of these robberies.

We used to eat at that Denny's all the time.

Back in the day we would road trip down from Huntsville, frequent one or more of the watering holes there on 1960, and end up at that exact Denny's around 2-3am.

Amazing how quick a situation can change when masked gunmen enter.

Correction: It is on FM 1960 between I-45 and Kuykendahl, just a half dozen blocks west of Houston Northwest Medical Center.

That is my old haunting grounds. I've lived on 1960/Hwy6 from Atascocita to Sugarland & all points in between almost.
