This is a beauty I just traded for.
Round count "3 or 4 boxes."
It shows that to be correct.
Only mark I can find on the gun is at the trugger guard & it shows up better in the picture than in person. Figure that.
Gun, box, all papers, factory mag, lock, & 2 NIP Wilson Combat 47D Mags.
$1000.00 FTF only. Will drive to meet.
My circle is DFW, Auston, San Antonio, Houston, Texas La. State line.

Just a note that I was shopping for a new carry gun earlier this year, and decided on this one's little brother with the 3-inch barrel. It's been flawless. I and five others have shot it without a single hiccup.

In fact, I showed someone new to pistols how to show-clear, and when she tried it the gun took an Olympic springboard dive onto a ceramic tile floor. Landed pointing down on the front sight hard enough to bend the metal at a front edge of the sight and to chip a divot out of the tile. Not a happy event for a nice gun with only about 400 rounds through it at the time.

I had just put it back together after a cleaning when this happened, so I did a detailed disassembly and inspected it. Except for the slightly smooshed metal on the front sight, all looked well. And even the front sight seemed to be only a cosmetic problem: the Tritium insert was still solid and the sight didn't seem to have shifted at all.

Range time later bore out that tossing the gun three feet out from four feet high onto a ceramic tile surface did no material damage at all. Didn't even affect the sighting.

The Kimber Customs have a reputation for being "pretty" 1911s, but I can attest that they're sturdy tools, as well. The CDP Pro was actually my first choice, but I took someone's word that the 3-inch barrel model that was immediately available shot well. I'm far from disappointed with my choice, but if LT had posted this in early March, I'd have been sitting in his kitchen having coffee and paying him for the CDP Pro.

Details on the CDP Pro, just for reference, are at : http://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/cdp/procdp.php.

Thanks Skiprr
Did not have it in March though. This really is a good clean gun. I will not shoot this one as I do some that I trade for. The 200 rd count may be high. The ramp barely shows being touched.

I also let a K go to the floor once. I am the one who dropped it.
   Tripple imbarrassed. Was entering a gun show & had on a new holster. 1st time on that morning. When they strip tied it & I went to reholster, I missed the holster. Concrete floor streight down on the barrell. Soon as I got home I did the same as you.
Complete take down & inspection. Reassemble & to the range. About 7 miles from the house  , You big city guys eat your heart out.
Nothing effected except my pride & that has healed so many times that I am getting used to it.
Worst part of the deal was not the whole lobby full of people & LEOs, but that this was the 1st time my grandson was at a gun show w/ Pappa, my son, & son in law. Pappa had been talking to him a lot about gun safety & being careful & taking care of quality fire arms.
Egg on Pappa's face.
