Jury Duty - Tarrant County - Lock Boxes?

Any chance things have changed at Tim Curry recently?
Is there any hope of checking my gun in a secure location inside the building?
I received a summons for Jury Duty in September and was hoping for a place to store my carry gun other than in my car in the parking lot.
Last JD stint (~3-4 years ago) I had to lock up in the car (lock box).

Do any of the other Tarrant courts have secure storage? I'm hoping I don't get assigned to the TC building (filled out the online questionnaire)....
Morning traffic on I-35W Southbound is a stinker.

They didn't when I was on jury duty last fall. Security checkpoints are immediately inside the doors so there's no where to go to unholster.

Advise the county clerk that you cant participate in jury duty because there arent appropriate accommodations for you. Tell em I okayed.

Isn't there some kind of ADA law about reasonable accommodations? ;-)

I can't speak as to Tarrant County, but Rockwall County has signs before you even enter, listing all the no-no's (guns, knives, etc..) and tell you to return any items to your vehicle. They will allow cell phones, but if they "go off" inside the courtroom, they will confiscate and NOT be returned. Metal detectors and armed wanders as soon as your walk in the door. I had to sit there for almost 5 minutes because something in my wallet kept setting it off. We assumed it was my work key-cards. I was there this past Monday for my divorce, but that's a whole other matter. :smilelol5:

Along with school districts and cell phones. Had to pay 15 bucks to get my daughter's back - whether she was messing with it in class or not is another matter, and certainly doesn't make theft right.

Let's just say we enjoyed a week of a spotless house, and with 3 kids, that's something to enjoy :)

Is that a fine? If so who authorized a school to levy fines. Where does that money go? Is it accounted for?

I have heard of this before and it still stinks.
