Yes, Virginia, an idiot can get a CHL

Reported in today's SA Express-News. Two vehicles in road rage incident. Both driving aggressively. At a stop, at least five shots were fired into the passenger door of one vehicle.
The shooter is (was) a CHL holder.
Haven't found it online yet.

That's certainly true. We'll see how much attention the media gives to it. It's certainly a bad example that is rife for criticism.
It's not like non-CHL people ever commit crime.

Based on that, it's not clear to me. Must not be clear to the PD either, as they didn't file charges.
Both drivers driving aggressively could easily have been someone trying to get away.
The car that fired had 6 people in it, 5 teens... The fact that no one got hurt is amazing.

Sounds like there were only teenagers in the suburban and that's where the shots came from. Or was there a driver plus five teenagers? Wasn't clear to me.

Also, how many road rage shootings involve people without a CHL? It's ridiculous how illogical some are.

The only thing that could have made sense if the truck owner tried to bump the other car off the road. Investigators have to find out what happened.

Driver + 5 teens. Driver's age not disclosed..
