I have a potential student that has warrants for tickets AND a suspended d/l (Insurance).
I told him that he'd have to settle/pay off the tickets w/warrants.
Not sure about the suspended license. I guess he could get a TX ID? If he wants a CHL that bad. Anyone know?

DPS has stated that class C traffic violations do not affect CHL eligibility, even if they go to warrant. However, if discovered during the background check, the individual will receive a "courtesy call" to tell them that the violations need to be cleared.

On the other hand, it probably isn't prudent to be advising prospective students on their elegibility.
