I don't know if that's a good price on the Sig or not but I want a .22 eventually.

Of what I have been told, the mosquito is a great gun, but it will only take CCI ammo, therefore plan on paying double versus other bulk ammo (assuming you can find any anyway)
Oh and if the restrictions stay in force at stores like Academy or Walmart on # of boxes you can get of .22, you will wish you had gotten something that would take more than just CCI which comes in 50 or 100 pack only (at least that's all I have heard of or seen in the last several years

Had the Sig - hated it. Love my SR22s.

CCI comes in other quantities as well. There's a promotional type box with Troy Landry (Swamp People) pictured which is 375 rounds. They also sell an "AR Tactical" variation which is 300 rounds. These just have the nose shaped a little differently so that they feed better in the .22 LR ARs. All of that said, they are just as hard to find as the 50 and 100 round packs.

Truly love Academy. Can't beat their prices on most firearms.

The few stores I've been in recently, in San Antonio, haven't had any restrictions on .22 LR but it was still behind the gun counter and it was still being sold in less than an hours after shipment arrives.
