Road Trip, NM, CO, WY, MT, ID

Taking a bit of a road trip, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, etc.
Have read the laws for the states I am passing through. While it all blends together, my takeaway is that they all have reciprocity, "gun buster" signs are legal in some of the states.
My plan is to adhere to the signs, show my permit and tell the officer I have a weapon is stopped. Kind of a least common denominator approach so I don't confuse one states laws with the next.
Any warning or gotchas I might have overlooked for any of the states I am passing through?

IF you open carry, which is legal nearly everywhere in those states, be extremely careful in NM. Walking into a store to buy groceries or snacks at a convenience store can put you at risk of a FELONY in that state. Also check where you eat. If certain type of adult beverages are sold, even in a restaurant that DOESN'T obtain 40% of their income from their Bar, it is illegal to carry in any manner and they aren't marked like Texas with its 51% signs.
I am not sure about the other 4 states in that regard.

You have a TX CHL and TX DL?
Colorado doesn't recognize non-resident CHL.

While all of these states are OC states, do not be surprised if you don't see much, if any, OC. They do all; however, recognize a valid Texas resident's CHL.
Safe travels.

National Parks, all park buildings are off limits. Be careful on any reservations.

Maybe your comma is confusing me.
National Parks allow licensed concealed carry. Are you saying the
buildings in the parks are off limits?

Interesting,
Thanks, that is exactly why I posted. I may have overlooked this.

Coming from someone who ued to live in Wyoming, you will have no issues while there. Would be very surprised if you see even one gun buster sign. Probably have the greatest probability of seeing OC while there too. Not uncommon for someone to come into town off the ranch with a revolver on their hip. Enjoy your travels.

Also all Park Ranger guided tours you can't carry on. You can carry on the trails and self guided tours but nothing that requires a park employee.
I chose to OC in New Mexico around Carlsbad and had no issues.

Can you show me where this restriction is posted in the law?

I apologize as this is only a rule for
Carlsbad Caverns national park as the guided tours are accessible via the visitor center.
I believe it is also written on their park handouts.
