Trouble Reporting Training To NRA

OK, so I have taught a few classes this year and I want to report them to the NRA website in order to stay current on my NRA requirements.
Went to the form page, checked Non-NRA class, and began to type in information. Then it became apparent that the form was for upcoming classes, not classes already taught. I could tell that because it had a place for a phone number and email and it said that those would be used in the published announcement of the classes. Too late, classes already taught and I just need to report completion.
Can someone help me with how to report completion of a class that I did not pre-register on the website?
Thanks

First of all, thanks for teaching!
You're on the right track, not to worry...
The course location fields (and email) are
required, but the course will not post in search results since the "Course Date" has come and gone.
Once you have registered the course, you will be able to add the relevant student information, etc. and then you can submit the course.
Remember: Once the course is submitted, you can not change it (the system will remind you as well).
Keep up the good work!

Did you try registering it anyway? What happened?

No, I stopped when it appeared to be only for future classes. I wonder if others have experienced the same thing.

Wow, so no one else has tried to submit a non NRA class that you have already taught?
Guess I'll call them and wait on the line to see if I can get an answer.

I don't get it. Why not try to enter it? If it works, your done. If it doesn't, THEN you can complain.

Well, I don't know that I am actually complaining, but I am asking a question about something that I obviously don't understand. Next Monday (I assume the instructor offices are closed on weekends) I will try to call and ask for clarification, but I will try to complete the form before I do so. I will report whatever happens.

I had similar questions when I first started putting my CHL classes into the NRA database. A couple of thoughts:
IIRC, NRA does not publish "Non-NRA" classes that you enter, so the date is not a problem.
Go ahead and register the "new" class. Since the date has passed, the system will not allow you to register another new class until the course report is submitted for this one. Thus, once you've created (registered) the class, you'll need to to register students* in it, and then submit the report.
Rinse and repeat.
Ask away. I'm happy to answer what I can.
*Divulging information about CHL students to a third party (anyone other than DPS or someone bearing a warrant) is prohibited. Therefore, when registering students for CHL classes on the NRA website, they ALL have the first name of 'CHL' and the last name of 'Student' and they all have MY location and email address. IANAL - just tellin' you the way I do it.

Thanks. I'll give it a try that way.

Tried it the way that dogflight suggested. Looks like it worked OK. Thanks
