I'm just curious, but why do you have a left handed model? They're kind of pointless IMO, unless you want it to be special of course.

They build them for people that shoot left handed. It ejects the hull to their left when shouldered on the left. It basically does all the things a right handed gun does for a right handed person.

Have you ever tried to shoot a lefty gun righty? It ejects spent hulls right into your line of sight or worse into your face. If you thought you had a flinch before, try shooting well knowing that with each shot you could be pelted in the face with spent hull/casing.

Plus, the Benelli left-handed guns have the stock cast in the proper direction for lefties..... a thing which righties won't notice with a right handed gun because it already fits them properly.

I'm a lefty, and I own a proper left handed over and under, and it DOES make a difference. It has left-handed cast, and a left-handed palm swell. For that matter, I won't buy a right-handed bolt-rifle any longer because left-handed rifles are easier to use and the stocks fit me.

I'd be tempted on this, but I have a line on a brand new one - sans camo - which I'm going to request in trade for some extensive work I've done for an FFL.

You assume that I am a righty, but I shoot left handed. Aside from some righty guns having safety's and switches so awkward I can't use them, I shoot everything left handed. While sighted, I can reload with my right hand, and work everything I need to on a bolt, pump, semi-auto. I ask because besides the guns when you really can't hold because of special grips and such, I'm more comfortable using a right handed gun, unless of course it's right handed only like I said, due to cheek pads and such, so I just avoid those. I never spend more on a gun, just so I can use it myself, and nobody else can, as I want my wife to be able to pick up my shotgun and use it, and visa-versa. I hope I didn't come off critical, I was just wondering why you have a lefty. (Note the "YOU" in the previous post.) Thanks. ;-)
