Advice Regarding Motion / Flood Lights

New to the community, first thread. I hope it's in the right spot!

I've read a few other posts where people talked about their motion / flood light setup on their property. Last week I had someone come into my backyard via the side gate (unlocked) and breech into my home from my back door. As soon as he opened the back door the alarm sounded and he ran away. I do have video footage of him on my patio, cops are currently looking for him.

I have a guy coming over today to look into installing some lights on the back and sides of the house.

What lights do you guys recommend?

Thanks for your time!

I had not seen those before. Very cool looking.

I got one of the Lithonias (two head vs the three head Eureka40 linked) when they first came-out a few years ago and have really liked it. I would go for one of these very pricey things especially if you put it in a difficult-to-access location. You'll never have to change a lamp!

We had powerful outdoor lights that were motion activated.

They drove us crazy.

Every time the wind came up or leaf blew of a cat strolled through the yard, bamthey went on. On/Off On/Off - over and over every evening.

We couldn't figure out a way to de-sensitize them.

So, look to see if they sell them with a sensitivity function or you'll be driven nuts.
