Hello,
We recently bought a house right across the road from a elementary school. I know I'm fine carrying on my own property but my question pertains to the sidewalk next to the road around the school. I regularly run around school on this sidewalk. Can I legally carry while running that close to the school? The sidewalk is along the edge of the entire school property, its a big circle.

If you have a Texas CHL, you are ok to go.
If you do not have a TX CHL you would be in violation of the GFSZA.
If you have a CHL from another State, but NOT a TX CHL, you would be in violation of the GFSZA.
