Philadelphia - Three teens who tired of playing hoops decide to rob someone and pick a father walking his labradoodle over a man who was walking a larger dog. After shooting him in the leg, he pleads for his life and is shot once in the chest, killing him. His pooch was laying next to him whimpering when his body was found. Cameras show all three young men were wearing hoodies. A fourteen year old who was later caught is cooperating with police. Nothing was taken in the robbery.

It really bothers me that we have to go to a UK website to get this type of news.

I guess it's safe to assume there have been no protests in the streets over this mans brutal and senseless murder.

The UK papers pick up all the local stories like this so they can justify their no guns agenda. It makes the modern day United States look the fictional wild west with guns blazing and blood in the streets.

It bothers me more that the Daily Mail takes every opportunity to paint guns and the US in a negative light. It bothers me more that they are making a profit off of every person who clicks the links and visits the website.
I do not like giving money to antigunners.

I was able to find the story on several local stations in Philly but nothing on nation wide coverage. If this had been white on black crime it's all we would hear and see in the news.

From the article...
Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said: 'It is even more senseless, and even more troubling that nothing was taken at all and he lost his life'
What?
He is disappointed that the thugs didn't get any loot?

I think he was emphasizing just how senseless the killing was. Ultimately these kids were killing solely for sport.

Feminist and liberals have redefined racism and sexism to hide their own racist nature. According to their warped thinking whites men cannot be the victim of anything ever.

I think he was talking about killing just to be killing. I don't think he is disappointed that nothing was taken.

Black on black crimes are not news, that's just business as usual and doesn't sell newsprint or gather news viewers. It's all about the money.

This is a very sad occurrence for the victim and his family, God bless him.
I've always believed that the size of a man's dog versus the size of his gun were inversely proportional. I have a Bishon Frise/Toy Poodle cross who weighs 11 lbs.
