The following 11 handguns are listed in the Cabela's ad covering the dates of March 26-April 6, 2015.
The ad I have states that these handguns are available only at the Cabela's in Fort Worth and Allen, Texas.
I have no idea what any other Cabela's in Texas may offer.
Primary sort = Revolvers, then semi-automatics.
Secondary sort = Ascending by caliber.
REVOLVERS.
Taurus Judge, .45 LC/.410, 3" barrel, 2.5" chamber, 5 rounds, $449.99, free NRA membership.
Smith and Wesson Bodyguard, .38 Special +P, 1.9" barrel, 5 rounds, Crimson Trace laser, $449.99.
SEMI-AUTOMATICS.
Walther PPK/S, .22LR, 3.35" barrel, 10 + 1 rounds, $299.88-379.88.
There is no explanation for the price range. Maybe black vs. bi-tone?
Browning 1911, .22LR, 4" barrel (although the photo seems to show a 5" Government model), 10 + 1 rounds,
kit includes throwing knives, 2 magazines, Browning lock pro holster, and Buckmaster decal, $549.99.
Browning 1911 pistol, .380, 4" barrel (again, the photo seems to show a 5" Government model), 8 + 1 rounds,
no price is posted for this pistol.
Smith and Wesson Bodyguard, .380, 2.75" barrel, 6 + 1 rounds, Crimson Trace laser, $399.99.
Taurus G2 (Generation 2) pistol, 3.2" barrel, 9MM, 12 + 1 rounds, $199.99. Free NRA membership.
Ruger SRE, fullsize, 9MM, 17 + 1 rounds, 4.14" barrel, $369.99.
Springfield Armory XD, 3" or 4" barrels, 9MM/.40/.45, $399.88-$449.88.
Beretta PX4, 9MM/.40/.45, both compact and fullsize models, $499.99-549.99.
Rock Island GI Series 1911, .45 ACP, 5" barrel, 8 + 1 rounds, $399.99.
Springfield Armory XD MOD 2 (with the new, varied grip surfaces), .45 ACP, 3.3" barrel,
apparently comes with 2 mags, giving you either 9 + 1 or 13 + 1 rounds, $529.99.
Sig Sauer 1911, .45 ACP, 5" barrel, 8 + 1 rounds, bright slide, black body, some kind of
mid-brown colored grips, $899.99.
Feel free to comment on the pros and cons of any of the handguns listed above.
If you have better pricing on any of them, please post.
If you purchase anything above due to seeing it on this thread, please post a comment here.
