Since I am now single, I decided to spoil myself with a treat.. and couldn't be happier. The only down side about her is trying to find a holster for it. I know I can get a custom one, etc.. but I spent a pretty penny on her, and don't want to spend another $100 for a custom right now.

Maaaybe in the $50-$65 range.

Shot 370+ rounds through her with various ammo and HP's and all worked fine. Not one hiccup.

Here she is.

Her?

A bit of anthropomorphism, eh...and yes, she's (chuckle) a real beauty.

A ship is called "she", because it costs so much to keep her in paint and powder (old Navy saying).

I could apply that to a few of my guns as well.

(aside ... I guess that would be considerd sexist now <sigh>)

oohrah,

Sexist, schmekist.

I too refer to a ship as "she" and if there are any who complain - tough noogies.

We as a society are so wrapped up in P.C. (in order to keep us quiet/obedient for the left's wishes) that I now routinely say as many non-P.C. words as I can.

Make your own holster, buy the scrap leather in the bargain bin, needle, thread, and use your electric drill or borrow one. It should cost you less than $10, including tax if you don't dye it. If you buy dye & water resistant sealant, $30, not including tax. Owb belt loop holster or pocket holster.

A iwb holster is more expensive due to the holster clips being $10.

Go to Tandy leather. If you want exotic leather, go to goodwill and buy a woman's shoe or purse to make into the outer layer of your holster. Use Tandy tool leather for the inner holster pocket.

Don't have time. I work A LOT. The days that I am free, I spend them with loved ones, and shooting. I don't like OWB because it just isn't me. I don't like the feeling it gives me when wearing one for I think that I expose too much. Until I shoot another 300 or so rounds through her, I'll start carrying her.

Also, I made the decision to just simply buy one from a company in Arizona. Wish I could given a Texas company my money, but the ones that I did like, the turnaround time was just too long for me to bare.

Thanks for all the kind words.
