with Open Carry passing, I wonder if someone with real and good knowledge and understanding is willing to do a seminar at PSC prior to start date of OC, with Q&A on any carry questions, thinking of where not (vs Concealed carry), additional things to look for (signs like 30.06, or others) as well as actual needs for carry (retention holsters, etc)
Also any other gun law changes (signs, locations, etc) which should be good learn for OC or CC.
if anyone is willing to do something like this, I would guess many people would be willing to attend, including myself.
Hopefully Charles or someone at board at PSC has already, or will consider something like this.

I'm just going by what the website bill stages says. It says passed by Senate stage 5. Stage 6 is Governors desk. If it does go to house I don't believe there will be a problem since it basically already passed there. The added Senate amendment is virtually the same.

Where does it say this? So far all I've found is:
AUSTIN – Today, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick congratulated the Texas Senate for the final passage of Committee Substitute for House Bill 910 (CSHB 910) with a vote of 20 – 11.
“More than two months ago, the Texas Senate approved similar legislation enhancing Second Amendment freedoms on a vote of 20-10,” said Patrick. “With time running out on this legislative session, the Senate has once again stood up for the Second Amendment to ensure law-abiding licensed Texans have the right to open carry.
“While the Senate considered attaching ‘campus carry’ to this bill, Speaker Joe Straus has assured the Texas Senate that the House will approve a ‘campus carry’ bill in time to be approved by the Senate and sent to the Governor to become law before time runs out on the 84th Legislative Session,” concluded Patrick.

Wouldn't it be funny if Patrick didn't even know where the bill was going next?

Aren't they still in session tonight?

I know one thing, I'm sick and tried of the wishy washy politics.
Either way.....it gonna pass, it's part of a bigger deal.
I'm not counting my chickens yet............bigger fish are to be fried and this was part of it.

if it wasn't the "exact" same amendment, like Huffines kept say it was, then it's his fault.
