I can understand why someone might not want to disclose "proprietaru" information related to part of their business, but I'll try anyway.

Could some of you good folks share sources or recommendations for video clips used in their CHL courses that you teach. They could be for training, demonstration or even entertainment.

I have access to power point but have used mostly flip charts and it certainly would make it more interesting for students to have a more visual oriented presentation. Also, listening to just one source can get a bit tedious after a while.

I am pretty inexpereinced at this, mostly having done family members, and would appreciate any good advice you have to offer to make the presentation a bit more varied and interesting. I am sure the students would appreciate it too.

Thanks in advance. Hope to see some of you at the renewal course. I don't have a date set yet.

Sorry, I haven't posted sooner. I don't have anything at hand to recommend. But since i read this post last month it's been sorta running along in the back of my head.

I held a class over the weekend, and I really wanted to go through some drills with the folks, but didn't have time. Later I got to thinking about what I wanted to show them, and that it would be safer (and cheaper) to do the live fire stuff on a video, and show them the video prior to introducing them physically to the drill.

Feedback?

I took a class Sat from Linda Watson so I could get a UT license. She had several short videos. It gave me the idea and I got several links on youtube that I thought would be cute/funny/educational. Right now, you cannot d/l the videos so you'd have to have internet access in your class room.

If you want the videos I found, email me @ jack@jackcpa.com
