The class-action lawsuit challenged various articles in Puerto Rico’s gun law, which the court declared unconstitutional. Because of the ruling, Barreras said, Puerto Ricans may now carry openly or concealed without a permit, and they do not need to obtain a permit before purchasing a firearm.

I wonder how this will affect travelers or relocating to PR?

Initial thought is still no firearms if visiting from U.S. mainland.

I suppose that the anti-gun legislators in the PR legislature will scurry around and try to write some more rules that pass constitutional muster (and I also suppose the PR government will appeal), but in the mean time this is still good news.

I agree that PR will do as DC has done and do whatever they can to pass laws preventing lawful carrying of guns.

Why woukd you think that? It's part of the US.
