My daughter wants me to go to a meeting at the Office of the Attorney General, Child support office in Tyler tomorrow. Does this count as "a meeting of a governmental entity" in PC 46.035, subsection (c)? In other words, can I carry there?

Thank you. I believe that answered my question. I tried different searches, didn't think to search for a definition of government meeting.

Perhaps it might be considered an office utilized by the court (Office of the Attorney General).
PC §46.03. PLACES WEAPONS PROHIBITED (a) A person commits an offense
if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly possesses or goes with a
firearm, illegal knife, club, or prohibited weapon listed in Section 46.05(a):
(3) on the premises of any government court or offices utilized by the court,
unless pursuant to written regulations or written authorization of the court;

I don't believe that is applicable. Attorney General is part of the executive branch of the state government, while "office utilized
by the court" to me means the judicial branch.
