I've been waiting since 6/28 when I completed my application. I checked the mail constantly and went online looking for updates, but nothing. This morning my wife wakes me up with an envelope containing my plastic and says, "is this what you have been waiting for"? It seems she was getting rid of a couple weeks of junk mail that had piled up on the kitchen counter and there it was. I know I didn't overlook anything from DPS but with a wife and teenager grabbing things from the mailbox, that particular envelope with my name on it probably didn't seem interesting and got shoved aside. Oh well, at least I finally have it.

I probably won't be doing a Wally walk today or anytime soon if all stays right with my world. I only go to that place when the warden (wife) forces me to accompany her. Right now I have enough "honey do bonus points" to avoid her next couple trips.

Nice. I too avoid all shopping like the plague and will be introducing your "bonus points" at the very first opportunity. I wonder if I could get away with storing them for future use. Welcome to you.
