CHL shoots and kills Waffle House robber. No one was injured except the robber. Shooter not arrested. Waffle House seemed happy about the outcome. No mention if it was a gun free zone.

Maybe they'll rethink their gun free zone policy. If it was a gun free zone do you think the alleged robber was mad that the shooter broke the rules?

Waffle House is a gun free zone nationwide. http://zap2it.com/2015/09/waffle-house- ... d-soldier/

This is not the first time a customer has ignored their policy and saved their bacon. http://gunsnfreedom.com/waffle-house-cu ... iminal/869

You would think they'd learn.

That whole "no guns" policy remark is interesting. I don't believe the one I've been to in Plano is posted. Are we sure its a national policy or just the policy of the franchise owner that's being quoted?

I haven't seen one posted with a 30.06 here in Texas. I thought they were only primarily against customers openly carrying in their business.

I suspect you're correct. Certain malls do the same thing - they preach no guns, but Ive never seen one posted. Personally, it won't stop me from carrying in one, but I understand the principle in not giving them business.

You would wish they'd learn. Think about how long it took to get the 1st human to the moon. I would not expect a fast decision, jf at all from Waffle House management.

Wonder if there was a security video of the incident, and, if so, whether they will release it.

Grapevine Mills mall........posted all day long with compliant 30.06 signs, and Grapevine PD enforces.

Maybe waffle houses are less dangerous than cafeterias? :tiphat:

IJK. I don't give my business to places that don't want me.

Are the current signs at Grapevine Mills compliant? I thought they used the wrong wording. :rules:

I know GVPD says they enforce, but I'm not aware that they have actually had to...
