The Academy Sports and Outdoors ad, valid from November 8-14, 2015, contains
the following 8 handguns for sale. 2 are revolvers, 6 are semi-automatic pistols.

Primary sort = Revolvers, then pistols.
Secondary sort = Ascending by caliber.

REVOLVERS.
Taurus Model 85, black with black rubber grips, .38 Special +P, 5 rounds,
DA/SA, $329.99.

Smith and Wesson 642, .38 Special +P, 5 rounds, DA, $429.99.
The photo shows a stainless body with black rubber grips.


PISTOLS.
Taurus PT738 TCP (Taurus Compact Pistol), .380 ACP, 6 + 1 rounds, DA, $199.99.

Ruger LCP (Lightweight Compact Pistol), .380 ACP, 6 + 1 rounds, DA, $339.99.
These can be bought at Grabagun in Coppell, TX for about $269 or so.

Sig Sauer P250, Compact, 9MM or .40, various round counts, DA, $389.99.

Beretta PX4 Storms, 9MM or .40, various round counts, DA/SA, $529.99.

Springfield Armory XDS (eXtreme Duty Single stack), .45 ACP, 5 + 1 rounds, SA, $479.99.
9MM XDS models contain more rounds and are $439.99.

Taurus PT1911, 5" barrel Government model, 8 + 1 rounds, SA, $479.99.

Thanks for the heads up, in the market for an xds. I'm a fan of grabagun too, always use them to compare prices.

Dont forget, Springfield is running their gear up n go special and s&w is running a rebate on m&p pistols through Dec 31 2015.

Oh, by the way, I missed another pistol on sale during this time period,
since it was printed by its lonesome on the front page of the ad, away
from the other pistols.

Smith and Wesson SDVE's, 9MM/16 + 1; .40/14 + 1; DA, photo shows a bitone pistol
with a bright slide and black grips, $299.99 for either caliber.

IIRC, the trigger on these aren't the slickest, but for a Smith that goes bang every time,
$299.99 gets you a serviceable piece of self defense for short money.
