New guy here

Post by Rmartinez37 »

Hello everyone, this is my first post here, but I have been watching all of the current wait times for about a month now. :txflag:
I snail mailed the chl100 10/16
Fingerprints 10/12
Application online 10/02

I spoke to a lady at dps last week and she said that the online status wouldn't change because they are taking down the online deal to check progress. Something about it not keeping real time updates

Still waiting...

I called dps yesterday and they said they still havent scanned in my documents.

The wait seems eternal lol :

Welcome to the forum. Have a little patience. Use the time waiting to practice carrying around the house. See what works best for you then get comfortable carrying before you get your plastic. That will make your initial day out (wally walk) uneventful.

Thanks, I'll take your advice and practice walking around the house. For now I plan to carry an m&p shield 9mm in a safariland gls paddle holster, until I save enough for a dan wesson eco :woohoo

Welcome to the forums.

The wait does "take forever" while you are waiting, but usually looking back it wasn't so bad ;-)

Just got mine a few weeks ago so I can sympathize.
