New Guy, and My Timeline

New guy here, just wanted to drop in and say hello. Here's my timeline so far.
11/19/15 - Online Application
11/23/15 - Fingerprints done
11/28/15 - CHL Class & Emailed Supporting Documents.
11/30/15 - DPS Email Confirmation
No criminal record, no arrests. I actually had my CHL in the past. Got it back in 2004 when the process was a lot different. I let it expire due to various reasons, and regret it. Now, I wait....

Update. I called DPS today for an update and was told my license was approved today (1/6/16) and that I should be receiving my license in 10 to 14 days. I checked the website, but there is no change.

I called last Wednesday and was told that it was with the technician in the background check. Maybe I'll hear something soon.
