I think it'd be interesting to know what gun and ammo some celebrities and pro-gun politicians carry. People like Greg Abbot, Craig Estes, Ted Nugent, and hey, even Mr. Cotton... anybody?

My first smart allic response is loaded guns, from there I got nothing

I'll bet we never find out unless they have to defend themselves. Just like you'll never know if or what I carry unless I have to do the same( May that day never come).

I imagine Greg Abbott carries a couple of Texas Rangers wherever he goes, openly, and doesn't worry about signs.

Being Governor of Texas has to be one of the great jobs the world has ever known. For one thing you can go to all UT games, and real good seats, too, even if you are an Aggie!

I've come to admire Greg Abbott, especially after surviving the governorship of "Moonbeam" Brown, twice. In learning more about this talented man, I found this in Wikipedia:

I think it would be more interesting to know what gun some of the anti-gun politicians carry. I'll bet a lot of them have their CHL and carry but sure won't admit it.

I seem to recall a few years back an anti gun group was upset because on of their supporters got a chl to by pass long lines in austin. Just don't remeber who or all the details about it.

In his book "God, Guns, and Rock and Roll" published 2001, Ted Nugent mentions an incident where he was carrying a Glock. If memory serves me, it was a .45, but I read the book over a decade ago.....I also don't recall wether he was carrying under permit, or under authority of being a reserve sheriff's deputy. This was all back in Michigan(?) before he picked up and moved to Texas.....
