George Bush Park bike trail

I'm not at my PC, and my forum / web searching is not as efficient here on the iPhone.

Does anyone recall if the bike trail around George Bush Park is ok to carry? I do recall some conversations in the past about how it is COE land, but I don't recall if the rules had changed regarding the trail, and searching for the answer is challenging while away from PC.

I am on the Terry Hershey Park trail on bikes with the family right now, and I don't know if we can cross over to the GB Park trail at Hwy 6 or not.

Per the website, Harris County Precinct 3 operates and maintains the park, but per the site it states it's part of the reservoir and the flooding is under COE control. SO, could go either way, but since COE is involved I would be cautious.

If you go into the park at Highland Knolls and Fry, there are Precinct 3 signs. If you go in on the trail off of Fry, just north of Carriage Bend, it has COE signs complete with a "guns are no-go" portion. I don't remember the exact verbiage off hand. Caution is definitely warranted.
