DICKINSON, TX (KTRK) --
A 17-year-old is behind bars again after a shooting in Dickinson - the second time since September.
Stephen Connor Gendron was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say a witness singled him out as the shooter following a grisly find in a car on Sunday.
An 18-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds was found inside a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 4500 block of East 34th Street around 9pm.
Despite those wounds, the 18-year-old survived and was sent to Clear Lake Regional Hospital. His wounds, according to Dickinson police, were not life-threatening.
Dickinson police say a witness who was inside the car with the victim was able to identify Gendron as the shooter. He was found at a home in the 3900 block of 39th Street.
Gendron is held on $80,000 bond and is awaiting transfer to Galveston County Jail.
The shooting victim was later released from the hospital.
Gendron was featured on the Dickinson Facebook Page in September for his alleged involvement in a shooting during a burglary with two other suspects. At the time, Gendron was charged with burglary of a habitation and deadly conduct, according to the Facebook posting.
