Lost application?

I mailed my CHL-100 on Jan 20th last month. I called today to ask if they had received it and they said they haven't. Are they this swamped or did my application get lost?

They don't even enter them for at least 30-45 days into the system. IMO, not lost, just their system.
Hang in there. I would wait till 1st-3rd week of March before I'd even call them.

many years ago I sent mine reg mail and got a signed ticket back for it

That probably isn't that bad, at least you knew that received it.

Back then about 30-45 min hold time on calls, I do not remember the scheduled wait time then but I do remember getting it 3 days earlier, I took the 1st daytime class in Tarrant County there was someone who had the 1st class 1 minute after midnight the 1st day, my number is a 3 digit number, I mailed it the next day as I had everything done prior to the class, so did a friend, mine came 1 week later, his number in the 80's, mine in 700's. My class was 2 days long.

They're still working on Dec applications
