Police in Houston are searching for an armed robber who briefly returned to the scene of his crime after leaving his gun behind.

The owner of the A1 Dollar Store in southeast Houston was shot during the Tuesday robbery.

“He came behind the counter and threw me against the balloon gas tank and said ‘Give me your money,'” said Victoria Rubio, who works at the store.

After she obliged, the suspect went after her boss, Piyal Ali. Rubio says the suspect Tased him first, then shot him.

“I didn’t know what to do or anything, I saw how he was bleeding,” said Rubio.
Lesson for all: Learn first aid. It is not hard. The store owner lucked out in that he did not bleed out before professional help got to him. He was shot in the hand and leg, and I will wager that the leg wound did not include a femoral artery, which was to his advantage. Otherwise could have been a lot worse.

Yes, ELB, as in dead.

With a femoral hit, even if a tourniquet is put on pronto, you migggghhhhtttt make it, but even then, it's iffy...
