IN: Fugitive from police caught by armed citizen

I first read of this on Indiana Gun Owners Forum (INGO for short), an almost first-hand account:
Buddy of mine help police catch felon after thief wrecks during chase..
The news article that goes with it is here: New Albany homeowner holds theft suspect at gunpoint
Summary: Chowderhead loads stolen pick-up with stolen goods and flees Louisville. Crosses into Indiana and flips truck on I-64 near New Albany. Flees scene of accident through nearby woods. Neighbors in vicinity notify each other that police are looking for him, so one guy goes to his garage to check - bingo, finds fugitive inside vehicle, with other items from his garage stashed in it. Homeowner produces .44 Charter Bulldog and holds fugitive at gun point until cops arrive. Cops take fugitive into custody, fist-bump homeowner, and leave.
I like happy endings.
