A friend has a Winchester Model 94 (so marked on the barrel) in 30WCF (also on the barrel), made in New Haven, Connecticut (again, on the barrel). It as a 20" barrel, straight stock, open sights (no hood on the front sight). The serial number is 1668494. Can someone tell me where I can find out the year of manufacture?

I'm not either, because I can't figure out how to copy and paste links on this iPad! Thankfully warnmar was able to do so.

Anyway, the figures on the list are the last serial number of each year, so yours was 1950.

For future reference, this site has ALL Winchester dates of manufacture.
