Welcome! It's great to have another Glock guy!
Hit the range as many times as you can while you wait!

And carry at home and in your vehicle. This will help get accustomed to carrying and help firm what you like and dislike.

thanks guys !
i am waiting on my holster that i bought from vetter (light tuck) , i am going to be traveling out of town to dallas this weekend for a wedding so i am going to carry in my car and hotel. i am checking to see what is the hotel policy on that. any recommendation how should i carry if i don't have my holster yet? should i keep it in the case the firearm came in? or in the glove compartment loaded but no bullet in the chamber?
i should have taken my chl and submitted the info sooner too as we will be traveling to Fl for a week - do you guys think i should/can carry my weapon to FL even if i don't have my CHL? i know FL is a friendly state, but i would only be able to carry in room or vehicle( we are not renting a car there either).
thanks !

i love my G26 so far, even without the pierce grip i got i think its OK to carry/shoot. its an ugly gun but from my research its reliable , accurate and serves the purpose i want.

probably down the road, i've seen so many videos on Youtube with people changing the sights so it seems alot of people are doing that to get better aim at night. did you? which ones did you change too and did you do that yourself?

I did. I like the Meprolight sights. But there are plenty of good ones out there. Yes, I installed them myself.

great thanks for the info guys ! i will probably upgrade them next. so when you get those new sights, are you able to see them better in pitch dark?
i only got the perice grip so far on one magazine, i will get a second one for my backup. so far the mag release has been fine ive seen some that would upgrade that and other shooters change the trigger ..i don't understand that yet i guess its smoother pull? i am new to owning a gun as this is my first. so far i've enjoyed shooting and each time i've gone to the range i've been getting better and feel comfortable. i used to flinch at first but now i am gripping harder and trying to focus and not flinch when it goes bang.

Yes they glow really well. Videos online don't do them justice. I carry also with the piece pinky extension and I carry the flush fit mag as back up. The XS make shooting almost to easy!

I checked the videos on the XS and they seem good, it may be my next upgrade :) if they help at night and finding the target !!
