We stopped by the Collin Street Bakery in Lindale has the sign below posted on their front door. I have seen pictures and have heard people mention signs like this, but I have never personally came across one until this evening coming home. I made our purchases and I made sure that I thanked the manager for placing the sign out front. :tiphat:

Very, very nice!

If they were in my neighborhood, they'd be getting all my bakery business.

I'll make sure to stop in on my next trip that direction.
They also have a great mail order business, so even if you can't stop by, you can order cakes, pies, etc.. to support their business.

I thought the sign to be unique because not only do they "support" lawful carry, but the sign says they "encourage" lawful carry.

I am curious if this is on the store in Corsicana since it is the original store.

That is very good. :thumbs2: for Collin Street Bakery!

It is rare indeed that a business does this, mostly because of the overwhelming intolerance from the other side towards any viewpoint other then theirs, the deportables you know (since we are the deplorables)...

Agreed. My wife, who carries every day, would LOVE to put up a sign like this on her store. But she's in the middle of the (militantly liberal) Houston Heights, less than a block from SheJac's office. Her business would be forced to close if she put up that sign.

I have a sign by the door from garage to house that says, "Lawful concealed carry permitted on these premises." I printed it off some sign web site that allowed download/print. I get comments on it which tends to initiate conversation - the desired effect. My hat off to a business that promotes carry.

I know exactly where her store is, then. Great location for a certain set of customers but, yeah, it would spell demise if a sign like that went up.

This is, though, the best version of a carry-welcome posting I've seen. Maybe some enterprising sign company should start marketing it like others have done the combo 30.06/07 signs. Make a buck and do some good at the same time.

I'm going to make it a point to stop every time I'm through there to do business with them. That is outstanding. :tiphat:

I suspect they all have the same sign since the Waco location has them and I have been told the Corsicana location does also.
