Socking, no? Anti-guns folks are as idiot as they do exist. Wicked disregard to the facts. Common sense gun-control are nothing but a lie, and this is the only thing you would expect from Hillary the Liar.

63% of guns used were stolen.
There's your answer, take away all the guns.

A couple of things stood out to me;
1 was how little money these guys paid for their guns. All under $250 and so many gifted?
2 Was no one ever used a .45 Cal, I guess 1911s aren't a weapon of choice for murderers, and some are still using revolvers.
3. No White people responded.

And 4. Gotta get one of those 40mm handguns...

This is the problem throughout the country, liberals still believe that a law will prevent criminals from getting guns, we don't have a "gun" problem, we have a "criminal" problem. Why weren't any of the felons, who were caught with guns, prosecuted at the federal level. In Texas it is a State Felony with 2-10 year sentence, which they will never serve. The Federal Statute has a minimum of 10 years. But Putting thugs in Federal prisons, is against the left agenda.

I have to wonder about the possible motivation (or lack thereof) of the respondents to the questionnaire. If we accept the DPS statistics cited in the article that 39% of convicted murderers since 2014 are white versus 38% people of color, with "other" being the rest, why would all of the respondents be black? Put another way, why did non-blacks not respond?
It is interesting to me that a reporter in a liberal major television market like Houston was actually able to get this past his editor. The findings do not in any way support the most often heard "gun control" talking points. The only "gun control" desire supported in any way by this report is the one least likely to ever get any traction -- an outright ban on guns -- since if all guns are banned there might be fewer to steal or otherwise acquire to commit crimes with. As always though, the use of a gun while committing a crime does not mean that the crime would not have been committed without it, so this "gun control" argument is also a fallacy.

Well, I respect liberals. They have all the college professors. I know better than to argue with them, and I fully understand.
If someone comes to my house, my car, or confronts me with intent to confiscate my gun, they are criminals.
I also respect the FBI's judgement, so I won't offer any fight for public servants who want to unlawfully steal my guns. That's the wrong battlefield for my tastes. The government may sometimes be above the immediate consequences of the law but officials should beware backlash. Political careers need to start ending at the ballot box at the first hint of disrespect for civil rights. Defended lives matter!
The best would be to figure out some way to, I dunno, make America great again before it's too late.

What makes this WHOLE article stand out to me, is that we have a minimum sentence of 2 years. 2 YEARS! The average sentence is 105 days, I had to go back to read it again myself. I agree with the highlighted statement wholeheartedly. Yea, I get it most guns are stolen and sold at unbelievable prices but that just harps at the undeniable fact that we have a criminal problem. And, IMO, any liberal that tries to argue this
fact loses all credibility. Just look at Chicago
