In my continuing quest to keep my gun safe from overcrowding (and pay off a few bills), I am offering a Dan Wesson Guardian for sale. This is the lightweight version of the V-Bob. It is an aluminum framed commander size 1911 with a bobbed mainspring housing that really helps with concealment.

I picked this gun up from the FFL on April 2 of this year, and it is fully broken in with right at 500 rounds fired, give or take a few. The only issue I encountered with this gun was a few instances of the slide locking back on a non-empty magazine early in the break-in period. A slight sanding fixed that issue and it has run flawlessly the last 300+ rounds. No FTF, no FTE. This is with a combination of FMJ and JHP ammo.

I'm asking $1,150. FTF only in the Houston area. I will be in Dallas for Thanksgiving so I could do a FTF while I am up that way, as long as you don't mind waiting a few weeks.

Whoever buys this pistol should be sure to wear a mask, because you'll be stealing it at this price. You'll understand why the first time you pull the trigger.

Also Soccersad is one of the good guys. You can trust his word. I think hat DW are the best production 1911 there is.

Great advice pawpaw! Im sure soccerdad would really appreciate someone wearing a mask FTF for this purchase.

Thanks all for the kind words. This really is a nice gun. The problem is that I already have a V-Bob and a CCO, so it is hard to justify keeping this one as well.

That is a very nice looking gun, and I am a big fan of Sigs, but I'm not looking for trades at this time.
