Wow things are getting tense out there. In the Austin protests the protesters surrounded three State Troopers arresting one of the protesters. To all of the officers out there be careful and watch your six!

I have a feeling there are more to come, instead of accepting defeat and trying to learn to come together people segregate themselves even more.

What is making this more unsettling is that there is a Mayor in Minneapolis that called for a day of rage.

Where is Obama and Hillary at to stop this madness? Why have they not spoken out to urge people to stop protesting? Or have I missed that part of the news?

The protests have turned into riots with a mob mentality. Our streets are not safe for the time being.

I hope everyone in the area stays safe, God Bless

Have we really gotten to the "Two minute hate" point? That is disturbing.

Obama especially. He is still president. He needs to act like it and condemn all of this. The fact that he does not further illustrates his lack of character and complete disregard for the welfare of the country as a whole.

Hillary and Obama and the rest of the liberal elites are counting on this! Stop it? Not a chance!
What I'm surprised at is the governors no calling up the national guard. But once again the liberal politicians are counting on this!
Every American has the right to peacefully protest but when it turns violent they should be met with violence!

This crazy stuff is why I carry a .45 carbine in my truck!

In fairness, the same thing happened when Obama was elected. Don't you remember all of the upset middle aged white people out there dragging minorities from their cars, and then beating them mercilessly in the street, like we just saw with a white motorist in Chicago? Don't you remember the smashed windows of cars, or the vandalism?

You might not remember these things because they didn't happen. Obama's detractors had more self control and less hatred than Hillary's supporters. And they tended to actually have jobs to get to.

None of this should be a shock. It is a continuation of the hate that Hillary based her campaign on. During the election we saw her supporters inciting violence against Trump supporters, along with attacks on republican committee locations. Did anyone expect that they would stop being violent little thugs after their girl lost?

He was in a guard stance to use it to push people back if need be. He never got into a striking position. This is why we carry ASP batons. OC spray would have worked well here but my have had some blowback being in liberal Austin.

Unfortunately I think it has gotten to that point. It saddens me to think about. I highly doubt this will stop anytime soon. I feel it will become worse in the next few months after January 20th when Trump is sworn in.

He needs to, but will he? I fear nothing will be said.

You are correct, it shouldn't be a shock! I was naïve to think they would concede as we did in 2008 and 2012 when Obama won. People say Trump won fare and square and are now rioting in the street. First depression set it, then someone planted a seed that it was ok to protest. That seed is now growing into a plant that has turned into rage and it will manifest it's ugly leafs into a war for our country.

I pray that I am wrong

All of those officers showed surprising restraint. Kudos to DPS!

Why weren't there any APD officers there to help out? Oh wait, they were probably marching with Acevedo!

All of this is further evidence of the total erosion of the United States. While I cheer Trump's victory, it may be time for an independent Texas.

Texas would need to be independent of progressives and liberals in order to be successful.

:iagree: Organized and funded by the same people who were promoting such things before the election results.
