I hope with a new administration taking office in January that this senseless killings of police stops and the handcuffs will be taken off the police and let them do their job.
I hope when they find who did this they will resist and ....the families (Officer and thug) will then begin to heal. There is never a "conclusion" that word doesn't exist, but there is a day they can begin to heal.

As more news comes out about this cowardly assassination, the more despicable we learn it is. Benjamin Marconi, 50, was a 20-year veteran of the force. There was no confrontation, evidently not one word exchanged. The killer came up from behind the detective's vehicle to his driver's side window and shot him point-blank in the head. The killer then reached inside the vehicle to put another round through Detective Marconi's head.
Prayers for this good man and his family. I have no other words that are permitted on the Forum.
