Hearing Protection Act and TPC 46.05(a)(1)(D)

Anyone know if there's a push to repeal 46.05(a)(1)(D) in preparation for the certainly imminent vote on the Hearing Protection Act next year?
Ideally, we would repeal all of 46.05, but I understand that might not be viable. If the HPA does away with registering suppressors with the ATF, how would we keep in compliance of 46.05? My only thought would be to proactively repeal it in preparation for what could happen in federal congress next year.
