application request

hi i just joined today.i live in austin Texas. i mailed in my application request,that is the request just to recieve the forms to fill out for a concealed carry license on july 3rd, that will be three weeks tomorrow.i havent heard anything back from them yet. i sent the form in by snail mail to the Texas dept. of public safety. i know the d.p.s. is always slow but i think i should have recieved the application forms by now...
any suggestions, anyone else have to wait this long just for application forms to fill out?

Just so you know you can fill it out online and pay for it all at once. If you didn't know. I did it this way and haven't had any problem with it (Besides taking for ever to process

what was the cost of it online Wildscar ?i mainly wanted to get the application in the mail so i could look over all the questions,then fill it out online.

Standard fee of $140 to the state.
