For Sale, a highly customized AR15 in 5.56. Price: $1,917 FIRM. Prefer FTF in DFW.

A few months ago, we built a very nice custom AR15, modeled after my own. This carbine has had no more than about 50 rounds through it since it was built. Now it has to go. Here is the parts list, so you can get an idea of what it cost to build:

Here's what the list contains:
  • Spikes Tactical Gen II Billet Lower Kit - $450.00
  • Spikes Tactical Gen II Billet Upper assembly - $245.00
  • Spikes Carbine Buffer Assembly - $69.95
  • BCM Gunfighter Ambi Charging Handle - $69.95
  • Adams Arms Gas Piston Conversion Kit (mid-length) - $315.38
  • Samson Evolution Series 11” Keymod - $175.00
  • Rainier Arms Select 5.56MM MEDCON Barrel - 16 - $259.95
  • MFT Battlelink Minimalist Stock - $59.99
  • Smith Enterprises Vortex Flash Hider - $58.00
  • Magpul MBUS Pro LR iron sight set front & rear - $165.33
  • Timney 3 lb Trigger - $218.78
  • Hogue Overmolded Pistol Grip w/ Beavertail - $17.85
The total value in parts alone is $2,105.18, not counting tax and freight.

INCLUDED:
  • Four 30-round PMAGs (Gen 2, I think).
  • Soft carbine case from Tactical Performance
NOT INCLUDED:
  • The ammo pictured in the magazines below is not included.
  • The optic pictured below is NOT included.

This is not an AR for everybody. No expense was spared putting it together. There's $2,105.18 in parts in it, not counting tax and freight, and not counting paying a gunsmith (my son) to assemble it. We want $1,917 for it, and we are pretty firm on that price. It is a wonderful shooter, and quite accurate. If you've never shot a mid-length gas-piston AR15, it is a noticeable difference from a direct impingement carbine length system. The recoil is noticeably softer, and the gun runs a LOT cleaner. The Timney 3 lb trigger breaks like a glass rod and has a really short reset. The rifle weighs about 7 lbs, give or take a couple of oz. The controls on the Spikes Gen II Billet lower are all ambidextrous. This is a really nice AR. I have another one virtually identical to it which I am keeping.

PM me for details. Only serious offers please.

TAM, got a guy at work that was asking what company he needed to buy from to have an AR that no one else had.

I showed him this and he seems quite interested.

Thanks, I appreciate it. My son and I built this one for my friend who owns it, and it is a nearly identical copy of mine. A LOT Of money went into putting it together.
