OK, this is a sweet little gun. If not for my Kimber I would carry this one. It's a Rock Island 3.5 in. compact 1911. I added the amby safety, Argo grips (Like the ones on a GSR) Ed Brown Main spring housing. New springs through ut. It's in like new condition and has about 350 rounds down the pipe. I would like to get $350.00 for it.

Hey Stringer if you get it up here to the DFW area and decide you don't like it I will give you your money back for it.
I was going to buy it but didn't want to go to Spring to get it.

I'll keep that in mind, though it appears that it will have been owned by at least 2 lefties. After that, it may not shoot right!

In fact I bought it new so "Only" Lefties will have owned it. I would imagine there is no way to ever make it shoot right again.

It was nice meeting you and your lovely wife.
For anyone wanting to do business with either of these gentlemen, or Diode, You won't go wrong. It appeared to be a very smooth transaction with some good conversation thrown in. What more could you ask?
BTW, for people living in Houston and Dallas wanting to make a transaction Fairfield is a good halfway point. There is also a little hole in the wall diner ( I was looking for Flo) on the northwest corner of 84 and I-45 that serves the best western omelet I've ever put in my mouth and the prices were reasonable. None of us left hungry.
