One hero was counting shots he paused at 9, so he came out from cover to attack and got shot. He may have thought with all the 10 shot magazine regulations that's all hand guns held.

I'm guessing Kansas is like other states and doesn't allow law-abiding citizens to carry their self defense handguns into bars, thus the good samaritan who was also shot had to intervene without having the same capability as the criminal attacker.

The article blamed everybody from Trump on down. Rather than the drunk mental defective who started shooting. I'm amazed at how quickly it can be labeled a "hate crime". When Radical Jihadist shoot a bunch of people, they want to call it anything but. He had already been arrested for DUI, and probably other crimes which would have prohibited him from legally carrying, not to mention the bar was also probably off limits.

Hopefully he will get be given the death penalty.
